Will it work with my EHR?
On desktop, DictaFlow inserts completed text into the active field without an EHR plugin. Typing Mode offers another path for remote or paste-restricted fields. Compatibility varies by application and IT setup: try a non-patient sample in the fields you actually use, and contact support if you need help.
Do I need to switch from my current dictation tool?
No. Start with the free Medical app and compare it in your own workflow before deciding. Test your specialty terms, formatting preferences, and destination fields.
Can I control medical terms and punctuation?
Yes. Add vocabulary to your dictionary, set formatting preferences, and use snippets for recurring text. Strict Verbatim mode supports spoken punctuation commands. Always review the result for clinical accuracy.
What should my clinic review before using patient information?
Read the security overview, Medical privacy policy, and BAA information. Complete your organization’s vendor review and any required BAA. Use fictional sample text while evaluating setup.
Is this the same as the regular DictaFlow app?
