Dictionary and Text Expansions are easier to use

• Clearer purpose: Snippets are now called Text Expansions, with a simple example that shows how saying a phrase can insert saved text.
• Better vocabulary guidance: the Dictionary and Text Expansions screens now plainly explain the difference between preserving a word's spelling and inserting a saved response.
• Edit in place: select a Dictionary term or Text Expansion to edit it directly in its list position, without opening an editor above the list.
• Quicker edits: Save and Cancel stay visible in the editor header, with Escape to cancel and Command-S to save.
• Consumer and Medical support: these improvements are included in both DictaFlow editions for Mac.

Ambient Scribe for complete clinical visit notes

• Record a consented patient visit: capture an encounter for up to three hours while using another app or with the screen locked.
• Speaker-aware transcripts: review the transcript, confirm clinician and patient roles, and rename additional speakers before creating the note.
• Six clinical note formats: generate an editable SOAP note, progress note, consult note, HPI summary, follow-up psychiatric evaluation, or initial psychiatric evaluation.
• Private recovery: interrupted recordings are repaired and retained in protected app storage for retry; original audio is deleted after saving to Notes or clearing the visit.
• Localized clinical workflow: Ambient Scribe is available throughout all eleven supported Android interface languages.

Command Suite now stays selected after restart

• Reliable restart restoration: Command Suite remains selected after quitting the app, relaunching it, or restarting your Mac.
• Correct transcription routing: dictations made after relaunch continue to use Command Suite instead of temporarily falling back to Studio Session.
• Safe startup synchronization: authentication and cloud sync no longer overwrite the restored model while account status is still loading.

Remote clipboard typing with the latest DictaFlow fixes

• Type in VDI for DictaFlow: copy text from any app, start the configurable countdown, focus the remote field, and DictaFlow types it character by character when paste is blocked.
• Type into EHR for DictaFlow Medical: move copied text into Citrix-hosted EHR fields, type directly from Recent Activity, or send the current Ambient Scribe selection or full clinical note.
• More reliable selections: Ambient Scribe now tracks whether the Transcript or Clinical Note was selected most recently, preventing stale text from being typed.
• AI Mode fix: corrected an issue that could duplicate text expansion output.

Reliable clipboard typing for Citrix, VDI, and EHR workflows

Reliable Microsoft Store startup on secondary drives

• Secondary-drive installs now launch correctly: DictaFlow and DictaFlow Medical no longer fail at startup when Microsoft Store installs them outside the system drive.
• Safer settings and session updates: state files are replaced on their destination volume, avoiding Windows cross-drive replacement failures.
• Complete packaged startup: the tray launcher now includes the state-file helper it needs in frozen Microsoft Store builds.

Reliable language preference updates across devices

• App Language stays current: changing the interface language now updates the signed-in account promptly.
• Separate preferences for each platform: Mac, iPhone, and Windows retain their own interface-language choice without changing the dictation language.
• More dependable session refreshes: overlapping account refreshes can no longer lose a newly selected language.
• Consumer and Medical support: the same reliable localization reporting is included in both Mac editions.

Faster, seamless Cloud or Local Offline onboarding on Mac

• Choose during Quick Start: new Mac users can select Cloud or Local Offline and can change the choice anytime in Settings.
• Responsive from the first dictation: choosing Local Offline starts the recommended model after Quick Start while Supersonic Sprint keeps early dictations fast; DictaFlow switches automatically when the local model is ready.
• More reliable Local Offline setup: download progress, preparation, model switching, and automatic activation are smoother and no longer require switching away and back.
• Natural Quick Start practice: practice dictations insert directly at the cursor with the same selection and Auto-Space behavior as regular DictaFlow text insertion.
• Copy the latest dictation: the Mac menu bar now provides a quick way to recover and copy the most recent transcription.

Windows shortcut focus reliability

• Start stays closed during dictation: Ctrl+Win and Alt+Win no longer open the Start menu when Ctrl or Alt is released before the Windows key.
• Transcription stays on target: the active text field keeps focus, so completed dictation is inserted where recording began.
• Normal Windows shortcuts remain available: standalone and unrelated Windows-key actions continue to work normally.

Final microphone-recovery and recording reliability improvements

• Reliable default-microphone recovery: DictaFlow refreshes the Windows audio runtime once when the default input temporarily disappears, while preserving explicit microphone choices.
• Safe bounded diagnostics: a slow Windows device query can no longer retain the shared audio lock and interfere with later recordings.
• Stress-tested recording lifecycle: rapid recording controls, microphone tests, session changes, and repeated stream opens now share stronger ownership and cleanup safeguards.

• Better Windows microphone recovery: when the Windows default microphone temporarily disappears, DictaFlow refreshes the audio-device runtime once and retries without silently switching to another microphone.
• Clearer microphone guidance: persistent default- or selected-device failures now provide actionable Audio Input instructions instead of exposing a misleading system error.
• Stronger long-session reliability: audio ownership and cleanup are more robust across startup, microphone tests, lock and unlock, sleep and wake, and remote-session reconnects.

AI Mode shortcut reliability on Mac

• AI Mode no longer ends immediately: fixed an issue that could make the Control+Fn shortcut briefly appear and stop while DictaFlow prepared selected text.
• Correct shortcut release handling: background selected-text capture can no longer imitate a shortcut release; recording continues until a required shortcut key is actually released.
• Mac speed improvements retained: the faster selected-text preparation, lossless audio upload, and connection prewarming remain enabled.

Italian, Dutch, and Traditional Chinese on Mac

• Three complete Mac interface localizations: DictaFlow and DictaFlow Medical now support Italian, Dutch, and Traditional Chinese throughout sign-in, onboarding, the main app, and Settings.
• Natural, context-aware wording: every new translation was manually written and reviewed for the screen and workflow where it appears.
• Localized clinical workflows: DictaFlow Medical includes translated clinical dictation, consultation-note, and Ambient Scribe experiences in all three languages.
