The pedal sends a keyboard shortcut. Configure it once, then set DictaFlow to use that shortcut as the recording trigger.

FAQ
Does this require a DictaFlow app update?
No for the basic workflow. The pedal behaves like a keyboard shortcut, so it can trigger the same recording shortcut you already use. Deeper built-in pedal presets may come later, but the basic setup works with the existing DictaFlow hotkey workflow.
Can I use any USB foot pedal?
Usually yes, if it can send a normal keyboard shortcut. This page is for people who want the boring compatible option without shopping around.
How long does shipping take?
Ships in 2 to 4 weeks. It ships separately from the DictaFlow app and may take longer than normal retail hardware.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes. If you change your mind before fulfillment, email ryan@dictaflow.io. If we cannot fulfill the order, you get a full refund.
Is this medical equipment?
No. It is a generic computer input accessory. For clinical dictation involving PHI, use DictaFlow Medical and your approved workflow.
